This recognition celebrates Bitunix’s commitment to the cryptocurrency community in Latin America, not just as a sponsor of the event, but as a true partner in growing the ecosystem, considering that the exchange has a significant number of users in this region.

Bitunix Increases Presence in Latin America as Crypto Flourishes in the Region
In Latin America, crypto is growing significantly. In Bolivia, crypto-related transactions surged more than 530% in the first half of 2025 alone, as per Reuters. In Brazil, nearly 90% of crypto transactions are tied to stablecoins, reflecting their everyday use as a payment tool rather than just an investment asset. This trend underscores how deeply crypto has become part of daily economic life across Latin America.
Given this growth, Bitunix has placed a special focus on the region by being present at crypto events there. The exchange has consistently prioritized community engagement and education of users in Latin America.
The Cripto Latin Fest was held at Medellín’s Botanical Garden in Colombia on August 21–22, where Bitunix took the lead as the main sponsor. The festival, widely regarded as one of Latin America’s key gatherings for crypto and blockchain, brought together traders, educators, businesses, and enthusiasts from across the region. Except Crypto Latin Fest, the exchange sponsored Wealth Expo Argentina in May as well.
