World Project Launches Priority Blockspace for Humans on Primary Network, Dedicating Block Space for Orb-Verified Users.
World, the new name of the previously known Worldcoin project, has just deployed the Priority Blockspace for Humans (PBH) feature on the World Chain Primary Network. This is an important step towards building a verified user network of over one billion individuals globally, where every member is a real person.
According to the official announcement, PBH is a breakthrough feature that reserves a portion of each block's space on World Chain exclusively for transactions from users verified by the Orb device. This ensures their transactions are processed quickly, reliably, and fairly, even when the network is under high load.
Unlike traditional blockchains that arrange transactions based on gas price or economic competition, PBH applies a proof-of-human model to determine transaction order. As a result, users can truly access priority services such as identity verification, mini-applications, and receive subsidies without incurring additional costs.
Steven Smith, Vice President of Technology and Protocol at Tools for Humanity – the main contributor to the World project – stated: "By giving default priority to real human transactions during block creation, Priority Blockspace for Humans makes World Chain more fair and efficient."
Security Technology and Testing Advancements
The PBH launch occurred a few months after World introduced Secure Multi-Party Computation (SMPC) – a Cryptology breakthrough that enables absolute personal information security and eliminates old iris codes. SMPC ensures that all information used to verify World ID is encrypted and divided into secret Shards distributed to multiple trusted parties, making it impossible to trace anonymous data back to individuals.
Regarding PBH, World revealed that this feature has been thoroughly tested through a reward-based testnet with diverse research and developer group participation, and passed an independent audit by Nethermind. PBH is seamlessly integrated into the Block Builder and Rollup Boost of World Chain, allowing custom transaction arrangement on OP Stack chains.
Smith emphasized the project's commitment: "We deeply believe that humans and AI can coexist harmoniously, and this development step demonstrates our commitment to building user-friendly systems that benefit humanity while maximizing the potential of pioneering technology."
