A Bitcoin (BTC) whale holding 80,009 BTC ($9.46 billion) has transferred another 7,843 BTC ($927 million) to crypto financial services firm Galaxy Digital, according to Lookonchain on X. This brings the total amount sent to Galaxy Digital to 16,843 BTC ($2 billion). Galaxy Digital has since begun depositing some of the BTC to centralized exchanges, with 2,000 BTC ($236 million) transferred to Bybit and Binance.

Overnight, the Financial Times revealed a bombshell: U.S. President Trump is preparing to sign an executive order allowing retirement plans such as 401(k) to invest in alternative assets like cryptocurrencies, gold, and private equity.

According to three sources familiar with the matter, the order will require regulatory agencies to re-examine current retirement investment restrictions, clearing obstacles for digital assets to enter the $8.7 trillion U.S. retirement market.
