U.S. PCE core inflation rises 0.2% in May

U.S. core PCE inflation rose 0.2% in May by comparison with the previous month, exceeding the market forecast of 0.1%, CoinDesk reported. The Nasdaq 100 index continues to rise, breaking its all-time high, but Bitcoin and gold prices fell by about 2% on June 27. The PCE data adds strength to the view that the U.S. economy is heading toward stagflation, CoinDesk claimed.
